Based on official results from Sabah General Election 16th (2020) and 17th (2025), this analysis examines SAPP’s performance and voter dynamics in urban constituencies. Minor parties and independents are consolidated under “Others” for clarity.

LET's look at the hard facts:

In 2020, 95% of Chinese voters went for Warisan. Back then, Warisan was the incumbent government and had the full power of PH behind them.

They still lost!! Causing the absence of any Chinese representative in the government.

And Warisan lost more in 2022 Federal GE15, they only won 3 out of 25 seats without PH.

SABAH's demographic shift is a stark trend that many see as a direct reflection of deep-seated economic injustice. This has been a dramatic reversal over 40 years, reshaping Sabah's social and economic foundation.

TODAY marks the third year of the official celebration of Sabah Day, symbolising the legal recognition of Sabah’s restored regional status following the 2021 amendment to the Federal Constitution. Before that amendment, Sabah Day was organised only by civil society groups and even required special permits for approval.

AS SABAH heads into its 17th General Election (HGE17), the political contest has taken a darker turn. What we face is not a healthy exchange of ideas and policies. It is digital warfare, designed to overwhelm, confuse, and silence.

For the first time in Malaysian history, DAP and UMNO joint hands side by side. Their combined machinery, powered by artificial intelligence and mass coordination, is now targeting Sabah.

The Sabah Industrial Development Minister recently stated that Sabah is not yet suitable for developing data centres, citing inadequate water and electricity supply. While this may seem reasonable on the surface, it actually reflects a passive mindset: treating resource limitations as prerequisites instead of challenges to be addressed.

AFTER listening to points raised by Datuk Robert Lau Hui Yew, a Senator representing Sarawak in the Malaysian Parliament, I found myself deeply contemplating the distinct situations of Sabah and Sarawak. We, in Sabah, share the vital goal of achieving a recognised autonomous state status under MA63, yet his perspective underscored how our distinct histories shape the unique challenges we face today.
