But what if, instead of fanning the flames of negativity, we turned down the volume? 

The recent controversy surrounding the "Allah socks" incident in Malaysia has sparked widespread discussion regarding religious sensitivities and the responsibility of leadership in addressing such matters. It is worth noting that this appears to have been an unintentional error, with only a small fraction – five pairs out of several thousand – bearing the offensive design.

Focus on commonalities rather than distinctions; co-create an inclusive and equitable society, we must.
