Electronic Vehicles (EV) are generally heavier than Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles, for the similar spec, due to the battery array is physically much heavier than fuel tank, while the drivetrain maybe lighter for EV.
ALSO, @ 35°C ambient, e.MAS EV draw electric directly from the batteries for A/C and battery cooling, and total energy capacity for e.MAS 7 is 60.22kwh LFP, and A/C and cooling may consume more than 25% of the available mileage (410km WLTP);
ICEV use crankshaft pulley for A/C compressor, with 60L petrol (about 534kwh potential energy), and A/C consume about 8%-10% of potential mileage (800km est).
Thus, EV still having a gap to reach ICEV realistic usability in hot climate, I think.
